Anti-Skid marking
Anti-Skid marking is a tough anti-slip surface coating that works well on concrete and asphalt. It is appropriate for a wide range of surface applications such as dangerous curves, parking bays, cycleways, walkways, mini roundabouts, and before-traffic intersections. It is very durable and has an extremely strong finish that can withstand heavy traffic because of its superior anti-skid material. When applied to that specific area, it ends or reduces traffic accidents.
The primary advantage of anti-skid surfacing is that it significantly improves road safety for pedestrians and motorists. Increased friction results in shorter stopping distances at intersections and better vehicle control in bad weather.

Technical Specifications of Anti-Skid Marking
Roadex Anti-skid system is available in two versions depending upon the client’s need:
1. Two-component resin reinforced with aggregate (Cold Applied)
2. Three component hot melt resin with aggregate (Hot Applied)

Method of Application
Cold Road Marking Application
- The surface should be clean, dry, and free of foreign particles such as oil or grease.
- Apply a smooth layer of a two-component system to the road with a squeegee and sprinkle the aggregate as needed. Smooth the aggregate with a roller until it has a uniform surface.
Warm Road Marking Application
- The surface should be clean, dry, and free of foreign particles such as oil or grease.
- Heat the resin, pigment, and aggregate at 150°C with constant agitation until the mixture is homogeneous. Apply the mixture to the road’s surface using a screed system at the desired thickness.
